History & Growth
Our vision is to transform creativity and design into immersive, interactive experiences that leave a lasting impression on our customer. Our founder, Emily, drew from her expertise in art, experiential retail, and fashion to craft a dynamic concept that seamlessly blends nostalgia, innovation, and community into a truly unique, hands-on adventure.

Our journey started in Savannah, Georgia, in March 2024, with a 200-square-foot DIY trucker hat bar that quickly became a local sensation. Paying homage to Savannah’s creative roots, including its connection to Juliette Gordon Low, founder of the Girl Scouts, our first location set the stage for a brand that celebrates creativity and community.

By April 2024, Mess Hall took to the road with mobile carts, bringing our interactive concept to new audiences. In June, we made a major splash at Bonnaroo and the High Tide Music Festival, solidifying our reputation as a must-visit destination for music lovers and festivalgoers.
The momentum didn’t stop there. In August 2024, we opened our second location in Charleston, South Carolina, expanding our footprint and proving the scalability of our concept.
Fall 2024 brought another milestone as Mess Hall hosted major corporate pop-ups for national brands like NBC and Tito’s Vodka, showcasing our ability to deliver exceptional experiences for high-profile clients.
From high-energy music festivals to collaborations with national brands, Mess Hall has proven to be more than just a store—it’s a movement. With a foundation of creativity, community, and growth, we’re excited to continue expanding and bringing the Mess Hall experience to vibrant locations nationwide.
